GIANTS CUP WILDERNESS RESERVE WAIVER, INDEMNITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK:

By confirming a booking at Giant's Cup Wilderness Reserve (Giant's Cup), you agree on behalf of yourself and all members of your group (including minors) to the following:

The Reserve is located in a natural wilderness environment with inherent risks, including but not limited to wildlife (including snakes and insects), uneven terrain, water features, weather conditions, and limited access to emergency services.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your stay, including the risk of injury, loss, damage, or death.

You accept full responsibility for your own safety, your property, and all persons in your booking, including the supervision of minor children. You agree to comply with all rules, notices, and reasonable instructions provided by Giant's Cup.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, you indemnify and hold harmless Giant's Cup, its owners, employees, and representatives from any claims, loss, damage, injury, or death arising from your stay, including those arising from negligence (excluding gross negligence or wilful misconduct where liability cannot be excluded).

You waive any claims against Giant's Cup arising from your visit.

You confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on behalf of all guests in your booking.

Acceptance of this booking constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Take N3 JHB/DBN. At Howick (Howick South), turn onto the R617 (local route no. 99) and follow that through to Bulwer till Underberg. Go past the Underberg Hotel on the left, about 3km out of town, and you will see a bridge over the Umzimkulu River. BEFORE THE BRIDGE, turn right onto DRAKENSBERG GARDENS RESORTS road. Follow that for exactly 11km. At the 11km mark you will see a small green sign reading GOSCHEN. Turn onto the GOSCHEN servitude, keep left, and follow the track till the electric fence. Pass through that and follow the road through the pines to the farmhouse. I would like to mention that the R617 passes through tribal trust land, and often, there is livestock in the road. Accordingly, one should drive with care. Also, the last 2km are dirt and not suitable for low vehicles.
